Roman Pizza Recipe - My wife and I picked up this pizza dough recipe while traveling in Rome.  It's our go-to recipe for pizza every Friday night.  The total cost per pizza is around $2 and I like it better than any restaurant pizza.

Pizza Dough Recipe

1 Tbsp yeast
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 cup warm water
2 1/2 cups flour

Dissolve the yeast and sugar in the warm water, then add the olive oil and salt. Knead in flour, adding more if dough is too sticky. Let rise until double - 45 minutes to an hour. Roll out into one large circle for thicker crust and two for thinner crust. Let it proof for about 10 minutes, then add toppings. Bake in at 500 for 10 minutes.

Toppings:  We use Prego for the sauce and Costo mozzarella for the cheese.  Add any other toppings you enjoy.
